What is impacted: : Logins to some VIU online tools and services – All employees and students; Technicians are replacing old equipment used for logging into certain VIU online tools and services.
Level of impact: No Interruption Expected. The replacement device is all ready to go, and been re-configured to avoid an outage. If a challenge occurs, some potentially impacted services include: VIUtube, wordpress.viu.ca, VIU.ca pages that require a login, VIU.ca Drupal logins, VIU-Secure Wi-Fi login, learnsupport.viu.ca, spam.viu.ca, Library Services hosted by Sitka and InVIU.
Timing: 10:00am, Monday, November 15.
Preparation: None required. If you are unable to login to one of the listed services after the change window please contact ithelp@viu.ca with a screenshot of the login error and the name of the service you are attempting to log into.
