What is impacted: VIU Windows 11 Student and Instructor Workstations will be updated to restart each night at 3:05 AM. This will allow for system maintenance and software updates to be completed after hours. Level of impact: None. If someone forgets to log out of these devices, the computer will log them out prior to restarting. Timing: Beginning Thursday, February 5, 3 AM. Continuing until all impacted devices are updated. Preparation: Be sure to save your work and log out of these workstations before the end of the day.
