What is impacted: Microsoft is changing how email and calendar applications connect to our VIU email accounts. The following applications should not be impacted: - Apple mail (Mac, iOS, iPadOS) - Fantastical (Mac, iOS, iPadOS) - Gnome Evolution (Linux / Mac) - Microsoft Office / Outlook (All platforms) - Zoom Level of impact: Potential Service Interruption. Applications that are not on the above list may stop synching your VIU email & calendar. (e.g. Gmail) If you have issues accessing your VIU Email / Calendar from an application, please submit a ticket to Information Technology Services. Timing: Beginning Thursday, September 24, at 8 am. Preparation: Be aware of the change. Double check that your app is synching correctly by signing into outlook.office.com and comparing inboxes.
