UPDATE - Maintenance: Cedar Center / Xpey building Wired and Wireless Networks; Service Interruption
The installation of the new Network Switch will impact both wired and wireless networks in the building.

What is impacted: VIU Wireless and Wired Networks; We are installing a new network switch in the VIU Residences Cedar Center Building (Xpey / Building 4). This will impact the wired network as well as the VIU-Guest, VIU-Secure and Eduroam wireless networks in this building. Level of impact: Service Interruption. The above networks will be unavailable for 30 to 60 minutes during the maintenance window. Timing: 3pm to 4pm, Friday, April 26. Preparation: If you need to maintain a internet connection during the maintenance window, we recommend moving to another building while the work is completed.
