Maintenance: Administrative Systems; Service Interruption impacting employees and students

What is impacted: Information Technology will be performing key maintenance on our core database systems. Many of our internal tools and applications that rely on these systems will be unavailable while this work is carried out. Some notable impacted systems include, but are not limited to:
- Student Record System (SRS)
- Student Ledger (SLED)
- Online Student Record
- Gradebook
- Student Services Appointment System
- Financial Record System (FRS)
- VIUWeb Admin System Portal and its modules (Award Management, Fledger)
- CUPE Training and Development
- Employee Directory System (EDS)
- Experience Hub (Orbis)
Level of impact: Service Interruption. All isapp.viu hosted tools and applications will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
Scheduled jobs and integrations from applications on VIU Information Systems to vendor systems will also be paused during this time.
Timing: Friday, July 17, 6 pm to 10 pm.
Preparation: Save all work and close these systems and all applications connected to these systems prior to the maintenance window. Do not use these systems during the maintenance window.
