What is impacted: VIU IT is adjusting our 2SV system ahead of a deadline from Microsoft to migrate from some legacy policies. This change will impact employees who have setup the Microsoft Authenticator App on their mobile device as a 2SV option. They will now be able to perform a self-service password reset via M365, confirming the reset through a push notification in the Microsoft Authenticator App. No other changes are being made to 2SV.
Level of impact: No Interruption.
Timing: 10am, Monday, April 29.
Preparation: None.
