What is impacted: An critical security update was just released this morning that impacts our REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) software and the system it runs on. Level of impact: Service Interruption. The service and website redcap.viu.ca will be offline until the updates have finished installing. This type of update can take many hours to complete. Timing: The update process began at 8:30 am, Thursday, October 1. Approximate end time 2:30 pm, however it may finish much sooner. We will update this post once the system is back online. Preparation: None
