What is impacted: Employee and student computers; We are updating the Alertus notification software. This software is used by Health & Safety to notify people in the event of an emergency. Level of impact: Computer restart required. If a device is in use during the update, a logout or reboot will be required to restart the Alertus software. A pop-up will appear once the update is installed, asking you to restart your device. Timing: beginning 8 pm, Thursday, July 2. Continuing until all computers updated. Preparation: Users should save their work and reboot their devices after the update. This will ensure the continued availability of safety and emergency notifications.
