What is impacted: VIU Email including Webmail, Outlook and 3rd Party Mail Apps; Technicians are updating VIU's e-mail servers. This updates the encryption used between clients and our VIU e-mail server. Level of impact: Service Interruption. All services listed may be unavailable for up to 1 hour during the maintenance window. Timing: 8pm to 9pm, Monday, June 27. Preparation: You will still be able to access your e-mail during the maintenance window but you may see certificate warnings, or errors. It is recommend you close your e-mail app and wait until the maintenance window is complete. It is possible after the maintenance window some devices may still display certificate warnings. Please reboot the device and try again before contacting the IT Service Desk for assistance.
