What is impacted: Internet connection. All Campuses access to the internet.
Level of impact: Service Interruption. Telus will be completing maintenance to their network which will impact VIU’s internet access to the outside world. Access out to external internet resources from VIU campuses will be unavailable. Access into VIU’s network resources from off-campus will also be unavailable.
Timing: 5:00 am to 6:00 am, Friday February 8.
Preparation: Complete phone calls, data transfers, email send/receive prior to the maintenance window. Have a cell phone handy in case you need to make a call. Blue emergency phones are available if there is an emergency.
