What is impacted: Inbound and Outbound mail for VIU. The Barracuda spam server requires an increase in disk capacity. This upgrade can take up to 3 hours, but will likely require less time than that. Level of impact: Degraded Service. Sending and receiving external emails to VIU may be intermittent for up to 3 hours during the maintenance window. Standard mail server configuration allows for delays of up to several hours to ensure mail will not be lost. Timing: 8:00 pm to 11:30 pm Wednesday May 29. Preparation: None required.
