What is impacted:Wireless Access – Building 180 - Nanaimo Campus; Technicians will be performing updates to the wireless system on the Nanaimo Campus. Level of impact: Possible Service Interruption. During the maintenance window Wireless connections may be disrupted for up to five minutes as technicians replace or upgrade wireless systems in your area. In most cases there will be no interruption, as other access points in the area pick up the slack. Timing: From 5pm, Wednesday, September 28, to 7am Thursday, September 29. Preparation: If you are working on in B180 using wireless, please save any documents/data prior to the start of the Maintenance window. If you are disconnected while connected to VIU-Secure or VIU-Guest Service, please wait a few minutes and the service may resume or try reconnecting to the wireless network after a short period of time.
