What is impacted: VIU Online Account Logins; VIU Technicians are installing security updates to our login server. Logins to VIU Online services that use the login page https://adfs.viu.ca/ may display an error message while the updates are being installed. Services that use this login include: UBW, Unit4, Hireserve, Zoom, VIULearn, Starrez, VIUVideos, Co-Cirrucular Involvement App, WeVu.video and internal VIU Enterprise Applications located at https://isapp.viu.ca/.
Level of impact: Service Interruption. Unless already logged into these services, you will not be able to login to them until after the maintenance is complete.
Timing: 9pm to 10pm, Monday, June 27.
Preparation: If you need to maintain access to these services during the outage, please log into them before the maintenance window begins.
