What is impacted: Employee computers; Removing a very old version of Audacity from Employee devices. This old version has been flagged as having a security vulnerability, and will be removed from employee devices as soon as possible. Level of impact: Software Removal. The old version of this software will be uninstalled from Employee devices. This uninstall will happen in the background, and does not require a device restart. If needed, the newest version is available for install via the Company Portal. Timing: This urgent change began on Tuesday, June 2. It will continue until until all employee devices have removed the old software. Preparation: Employee's may wish to pre-install the newer version of Audacity form the Company Portal.
