What is impacted: VIU IT Ticketing System. Technicians will be working to bring our new ticket system online and migrate data over from the old one.
Level of impact: Service interruption. During the change over, both systems will be offline. Employees will not be able to access their tickets, nor will new ones be generated. Emails to the IT Service Desk will queue up and be processed once the new tool is live. For urgent support needs please call the IT Service Desk.
Timing: Beginning 12pm, Friday, December 3. Finishing at 4pm, Monday, December 6.
