What is impacted: All VIU Mitel phones including voicemail and call flows. Calls to affected locals may ring fast busy, have dead air, or go to voicemail. Phones may reboot multiple times. Level of impact: Service Interruption to employee and classroom with VoIP phones at Nanaimo Campus. Calling to and from any Mitel VoIP phones or local numbers will not be operational. Intermittent interruption to employee and classroom phones at all other VIU campus locations (up to 15 minutes interruption during maintenance window, otherwise un-impacted). Timing: 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Thursday June 14th Preparation: Plan to complete all phone calls prior to the maintenance window. Have a cell phone handy in case you need to make a call. Blue emergency phones are available if there is an emergency.
